Safe and Comfortable Drug Detox

Drug Detox CenterA Center for Addiction Recovery provides on-premises medically supervised drug detox. Certain drugs require detoxification without any exceptions. They include: alcohol, heroin and opiate-related drugs, prescriptions drugs such as Oxycontin, Xanax, Vicodin, and Hydrocodone. Clients admitted to our drug detox center experience the same level of care as our clients receiving alcohol detox. If any problems may arise during detox, our clients can count on our experienced physicians and nursing staff which are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Clients going through our medical drug detox are educated about how their bodies react to the removal of substances and are engaged in biofeedback sessions to easy their bodies gently into recovery. Our biofeedback treatment sessions utilize the combination of music, choreographed imagery, vibrations and binaural beats which induces a natural meditative state. The purpose of this biofeedback session is to bring balance and harmony to the clients' life by teaching them the practice of deep-breathing and the engagement of positive emotional thoughts. When using these techniques, clients are able to establish a coherence baseline and are able to take charge of their emotional reactions.

Beyond Drug Detox

After medical drug detox, clients receive traditional counseling, holistic and alternative therapies where they are educated about the disease of addiction and learn how to identify and understand the issues underneath the surface that may have caused their drug addiction. Therapeutic treatment is offered in private and in group settings, often involving family members and loved ones when recommended by therapist.
