Addiction Treatment Facilities in New HampshireIn New Hampshire, 52 substance abuse treatment facilities were included in the 2010 N-SSATS, reporting that there were 5,237 clients in substance abuse treatment on March 31, 2010. The survey response rate in New Hampshire was 87%.

According to the 2010 National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services (N-SSATS) annual surveys, the number of addiction treatment facilities in New Hampshire was 52. Of these, 17 were private for-profit and 32 were private non-profit. The other 3 were owned/operated by the State government. Since 2002, the number of treatment facilities in New Hampshire has decreased.

Although addiction treatment facilities in New Hampshire may offer more than one modality of care, in 2010 the majority of treatment facilities (39 or 75%) offered some form of outpatient addiction treatment. Another 17 facilities offered some form of residential addiction treatment, where 9 offered short term care and 12 offered long term addiction treatment, with 8 of these residential addiction treatment facilities offering detoxification. There were 8 facilities offering opioid treatment program in New Hampshire with certified physicians providing Methadone and Buprenorphine treatments.
